Human pelvis development published in Science Advances
8-08-2022
Proud to share with you our collaborative contribution to the paper: The developmental impacts of natural selection on human pelvic morphology, as published in Science Advances!
With an international group of talented researchers including evolutionary biologists, anthropologists and anatomists from Harvard, London, Canada, UK and Amsterdam, we showed how the human pelvis is built, already in an embryo, for walking and giving birth to children with big brains.
“Thanks to our technician Jaco Hagoort for his help in sharing the images of the 3D Embryo Atlas with Terence Capellini and team at Harvard.”
