Questionnaire: Help us understand pregnancy loss
23-08-2026
Every year, millions of parents around the world experience the loss of a pregnancy, and yet, within the current healthcare system, most of them are left with more questions than answers. We believe that our expertise in embryology and high-resolution imaging could help change that, but first, we need to understand what parents actually need.
That is why the Little Miracles Foundation has launched an international study: Who Gets Answers After Pregnancy Loss? The study looks at what parents are currently told after a pregnancy loss, and what needs to change so that more families get answers.
The questionnaire is open to anyone aged 18 or older, whether or not you have experienced a pregnancy loss yourself; there is a shorter set of questions for those who have not. If your partner was the one who was pregnant, you can answer the questions about that pregnancy. It takes about 15 minutes to complete, or around 9 minutes if you have never experienced a pregnancy loss. Everyone else can also answer a few optional questions at the end, adding about five minutes, though you are free to stop before then.
Your answers will directly help shape how we can support parents in the future, whether through better information, new diagnostic tools, or simply a better understanding of what this experience is really like. Every response matters, and we are deeply grateful to everyone willing to share their story with us.
If you know someone who might want to contribute, please feel free to share this questionnaire with them.
Thank you for helping us build a better future for parents who experience pregnancy loss.
