Back to the ESRF

Thanks to the ESRF – The European Synchrotron and HOAhub, we have achieved a significant milestone by being the first to utilize Hierarchical Phase-Contrast Tomography (HiP-CT) for the scanning of three human uterine samples.
This innovative approach promises to provide unparalleled insights into the uterus, with the potential to significantly improve clinical diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.
Again thanks to the dedicated team members, among others, Claire Walsh, Theresa Urban and Hector Dejea I Velardo for their expertise and commitment to this project. We would also like to thank Chan Zuckerberg Initiative for their support, which was crucial in facilitating our research.
And we don’t want to forget to thank our team, who once more have worked vigilantly to get these fantastic results; Daniël Docter, Bernadette de Bakker, Judith Huirne.
We’re excited about the potential of our findings and can’t wait to share some of the groundbreaking images we’ve captured. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to share your thoughts or questions about our work.
