On September 20, 2023 Dr. de Bakker gave the ‘Inspirational Speech’ at the ESNR meeting for neuroradiologists at an amazing location in the center of Vienna. She was invited by Prof. Andrea Rossi with whom she collaborates to study neural tube defects.

Dr. de Bakker was proud to present the first results on vascular development of the brain by Chelsey Linnenbank, Karl Jacobs and Victor Volovici. She also mentioned our latest work on the use of AI in 3D ultrasound in collaboration with Erasmus MC. The work of PhD students Marcella Zijta and Wietske Bastiaansen is truly promising!
